Railsider was created as a result of consolidating into a single brand all those logistics operators in which the Algeposa Group and Renfe Mercancías jointly participated.
Railsider is organized through 2 companies; Railsider Atlantic and Railsider Mediterranean, which offer their services in both Axes of the Iberian Peninsula operating under a single reference brand, Railsider, which allows to offer their customers and shippers, global solutions for the management of their supply chain.
The integration of the Algeposa Group's strengths in maritime transport, of Renfe's experience in rail freight transport, together with Railsider's leadership as a rail logistics operator, positions us as the intermodal operator of reference in Spain.
An operator that collaborates with the main European railway companies in the improvement of current logistics solutions, in the ad hoc design of new alternatives, and in innovation in all links of the supply chain.
Our goal: that our customers have in Railsider the partner that helps them to improve their logistics costs.

Mission
RAILSIDER is an international logistics operator that uses rail as its main means of transport to connect producers, consignees, warehouses and ports.
RAILSIDER provides its customers with logistics solutions based on a network of multimodal terminals, strategically located in the main industrial areas and in the centers of rail interconnection with Europe, in order to mass shipments that generate economies of scale, thus reducing the logistics costs of our customers.
At RAILSIDER we transport our customers' goods using our rail traction purchasing capacity, as well as our own and rented wagons, which allow us to transport any type of product, although we are strongly specialized in the steel market.

Environment
Within the framework of action in the field of sustainability of the railway division of ALGEPOSA GRUPO, is the so-called Cleaner Production (CP), which allows us to incorporate a preventive and integrated environmental strategy in production processes, products and services, to reduce the relevant risks for people and the environment.
In the case of production processes, it is oriented towards the conservation of raw materials and energy, the elimination of toxic raw materials, and the reduction of the quantity and toxicity of all polluting emissions and wastes.
In the case of products, it is oriented towards the reduction of the negative impacts that accompany the product's life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials to its final disposal. In the case of services, it is oriented towards the incorporation of the environmental dimension, both in the design and in the provision of services.
