Rail Sider Atlántico and Alsa Rail celebrated, during SIL 2026 in Barcelona, the operation of the 75th train since the start of their collaboration on regular rail freight services.

As part of this collaboration, Alsa Rail provides traction services to Rail Sider Atlántico, enabling the operator to strengthen its door-to-door rail services with its own wagons and increase the service capacity offered to its customers.

This milestone comes in a context in which Alsa Rail has publicly reaffirmed its commercial alliance with Rail Sider Atlántico for regular traffic, as part of its commitment to creating further synergies and improving efficiency in rail freight transport.

A collaboration serving steel logistics

The collaboration between the two companies is focused on developing rail solutions for the steel market, an area in which Rail Sider Atlántico has operational experience and its own wagon fleet.

During the meeting held at SIL 2026, representatives of Rail Sider Atlántico and Alsa Rail highlighted the positive working experience developed to date and their willingness to continue expanding rail logistics solutions for the sector.
