Railsider, a leading company in integrated rail logistics, has been recognized for its environmental commitment with the delivery of the 2024 Carbon Footprint Certificate by Renfe Mercancías. This certificate endorses the significant reduction of CO₂ emissions achieved thanks to the use of sustainable rail transport in its logistics operations.

Specifically, the use of the train as the main means of transportation has allowed Railsider Atlántico and Railsider Mediterráneo to avoid the emission of 47,038 net tons of greenhouse gases during the last year:

• 33,409 tons of CO₂ avoided by Railsider Atlantic.
• 13,629 tons of CO₂ avoided by Railsider Mediterranean.

These savings demonstrate the positive impact of rail as a low-carbon logistics solution compared to more polluting modes of transport such as road transport.
